This evening, I am posting information on MacVicar family history as sourced from a memorial stone at Ramshorn Church Burial Ground. This records the deaths of:

• Duncan MacVicar, sometimes Barrack Master of Fort George, Scotland. Born at Craignish, Argyll in 1728, died Parkhouse, Glasgow in 1803, age 75 yrs.
• John Lachlan Grant, son of Rev James Grant, Minister of Laggan, Inverness-shire and Anne MacVicar. Born Laggan 1784, died Glasgow 1799 age 15 yrs.
